BV Grade DH32 material is a kind of high tensile strength marine steel. It has been engineered to be optimal long-lived shipbuilding steel. BV Grade DH32 steel plate is mainly used to build vessels which are sailing in low temperature oceans.
When rolling BV DH32 shipbuilding steel plates, TMCP or Normalized shall be done for heat treatment, and low temperature impacting test have to be done under minus 20 centigree. For improve the thickness-direct steel property for BV grade DH32 shipbuilding steel plate, Z-test is also necessary, and the classes are Z15, Z25 and Z35.
